About Us

20111114135825096-page-001-13-300x211Cunningham Brothers Auto Parts has been serving their customers with quality recycled automotive parts since 1981. With the help of their mother, the three Cunningham brothers opened their first location in Rustburg, Va. The company grew quickly, and the Cunninghams purchased their second location, Old Dominion Auto Salvage in Roanoke, in 1985. Wanting a larger foot print in Virginia, they purchased their third full-service location, Action Auto Parts, in 1994. The Cunningham’s purchased a car lot in 1999 to help handle the retail sales of the repairable vehicles.

With the three full-service locations growing in Virginia, the Cunninghams moved their focus to opening a self serve yard. In 2005 they acquired a 23-acre facility in Greensboro, N.C., with which they took 17 acres and converted it into their first self-serve operation. In November of 2007, they acquired another facility in Charlotte, N.C., and opened their second self-serve yard, Pick-N-Save Monroe. In 2009, they opened their third self-serve facility in Rustburg, located beside their full-service location. The Cunninghams decided in 2012 to consolidate their full-service production down to one location, and in 2013 they are opening their fourth self serve facility in Roanoke.
